 The first nautical open market will take place in the marina of the Mercure hotel, baie Nettlé in St Martin, at the end of the month.
Organized by SXM Marine, the "ST MARTIN BOAT SHOW" will exhibit new and used sail boats, motor boats, and other smaller nautical items.
During those 2 days, access to the St Martin Boat Show is open to all and free for visitors.
About 50 exhibitors are expected, and for them, the principle of participation is simple: with places starting at 50 euros ($70 US), anybody can come and exhibit his items to conclude direct transactions with the visitors.
Several nautical experts and professionals will be on site to help buyers in their choice and paperwork.
The goal of the organizers is to facilitate the contact between boat sellers and potential buyers by getting a number of attractive offers concentrated in a single location.
The event will be widely advertised through medias and posters, in surrounding islands as well as in St Martin, to allow a maximum of bargain seekers to come and take that opportunity to make their minds about the market tendencies.
